Ires Ship Management is currently recruiting a Welder Helper to support welding and fabrication teams onboard an Accommodation Work Barge.
Job Responsibilities
Assist welders with preparation of work areas and materials.
Prepare welding equipment and consumables.
Assist with grinding, cleaning, and joint preparation.
Move and position materials safely.
Maintain tools and work areas.
Support hot-work activities under supervision.
Follow all offshore HSE procedures.
Requirements
Previous welding-helper, fabrication, or industrial experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of welding tools and equipment.
Offshore experience is an advantage.
Good English communication skills.
Strong safety awareness.
Valid offshore certificates where applicable.
Physically fit for offshore work.
