Ires Ship Management is looking for an experienced Welder to perform offshore welding and fabrication activities onboard an Accommodation Work Barge.
Job Responsibilities
Perform structural and pipe welding.
Carry out repairs and fabrication work.
Work fr om approved drawings and welding procedures.
Prepare surfaces and welding joints.
Inspect welding equipment before use.
Maintain welding tools and equipment.
Follow hot-work permits and HSE procedures.
Requirements
Valid welding qualification/certification.
Previous offshore welding experience preferred.
Marine, Oil & Gas, or industrial fabrication experience.
Good knowledge of welding safety.
Good English communication skills.
Valid offshore certificates wh ere applicable.
Physically fit for offshore work.
