A maritime company is seeking an experienced Steward to join a DP2 Cable Laying Vessel operating on worldwide offshore cable installation projects.
The successful candidate will support catering and accommodation services onboard, ensuring clean, safe, and well-maintained living and dining areas for the crew.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of crew accommodation and common areas
Prepare and maintain dining and mess areas
Assist with meal service and catering operations
Wash dishes, utensils, and galley equipment as required
Support the Cook and catering department with daily duties
Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards onboard
Follow vessel HSE, safety, and sanitation procedures
Work effectively with a multicultural crew
Requirements
Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
Previous experience as a Steward or similar position preferred
Offshore, DP vessel, or Cable Laying Vessel experience is an advantage
Good knowledge of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural crew
