Job Description
Novo Sdn Bhd is currently seeking an experienced Steward to join an Accommodation Work Boat (AWB) DP2 Vessel supporting offshore operations in Malaysia Offshore.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accommodation areas, assisting with food service, supporting galley operations, and ensuring a clean, comfortable, and hygienic environment for all crew members.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced offshore stewards with previous accommodation vessel or offshore support vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Clean and maintain cabins, offices, and common areas
Assist with meal preparation and food service
Support galley operations when required
Maintain laundry and housekeeping services
Replenish accommodation supplies and consumables
Ensure cleanliness in accordance with hygiene standards
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Support crew welfare through high-quality hospitality services
Requirements
Previous offshore experience as Steward
Minimum 12 months of experience on AWB DP2 or equivalent offshore vessels preferred
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid OPITO BOSIET
Valid passport and offshore medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong housekeeping and hospitality skills
Excellent teamwork and customer service attitude
High standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
