Select Offshore is currently seeking an experienced Rigger to join Offshore Support Vessels operating in UK waters.
The successful candidate will perform rigging and lifting operations, prepare lifting equipment, assist crane operations, and support offshore construction activities while ensuring compliance with offshore safety regulations and company HSE procedures.
This opportunity is ideal for offshore rigging professionals with previous Offshore Support Vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Perform rigging and lifting operations
Inspect lifting gear before use
Prepare and secure loads for lifting
Assist crane operators during lifting activities
Follow approved lifting plans
Participate in emergency drills
Ensure compliance with HSE procedures
Maintain lifting equipment in good condition
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Previous Offshore Support Vessel experience preferred
Valid rigging certification
Valid passport and seafarer's medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
