Job Description
Novo Sdn Bhd is currently seeking experienced Fitters to join an Accommodation Work Boat (AWB) DP2 Vessel supporting offshore operations in Malaysia Offshore.
The successful candidates will perform mechanical repairs, fabrication, welding, machinery maintenance, and support engineering operations while ensuring compliance with offshore safety standards.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced offshore Fitters with previous AWB DP2 or offshore support vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs
Carry out fabrication and welding work
Maintain pumps, valves, pipelines, and deck machinery
Assist engineers during equipment overhauls
Perform planned maintenance activities
Maintain workshop tools and equipment
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and offshore regulations
Requirements
Minimum 12 months of experience as Fitter on AWB DP2 or equivalent offshore vessels
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid OPITO BOSIET
Valid passport and offshore medical certificate
Welding/fabrication qualifications preferred
Good English communication skills
Strong mechanical maintenance skills
Excellent safety awareness and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
