PT Setya Dharma Maritim Manajemen is currently seeking an experienced Oiler to join a Self Propelled Barge (SPB) equipped with two offshore cranes for an offshore project in Guinea, West Africa.
The successful candidate will support engine room operations, machinery maintenance, lubrication routines, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of propulsion and auxiliary systems while complying with company HSE procedures and international maritime regulations.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced Oilers with previous Self Propelled Barge and West Africa operational experience.
Job Responsibilities
Assist engineers with daily engine room operations
Lubricate and maintain propulsion and auxiliary machinery
Monitor machinery performance and report abnormalities
Maintain engine room cleanliness and safety
Perform routine maintenance and repair work
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and maritime regulations
Support safe and efficient vessel operations
Requirements
Valid STCW 2010 certification package (BST MSC 560)
Minimum 24 months of experience onboard Self Propelled Barges (SPB) as Oiler
Previous West Africa experience is mandatory
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
All certificates must remain valid for at least 18 months
Good English communication skills
Strong technical knowledge and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
