Job Description:
SA-World is seeking qualified Oilers to join the engine department onboard a Pipe Lay Vessel. The position involves assisting engineers in machinery maintenance and ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lubricate and maintain all engine room machinery and equipment.
Assist engineers with repairs and daily operations.
Monitor engine parameters and report abnormalities.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the engine room.
Participate in emergency and safety drills.
Requirements:
Valid STCW, Seaman’s Book, and Oiler Certificate.
Previous experience in offshore or DP vessels preferred.
Strong teamwork and safety focus.
Fluent in English.
