Job Description
PT. Benteng Marine Service is currently seeking an experienced Oiler to join a Crewboat Vessel supporting offshore marine operations.
The successful candidate will assist with engine room operations, machinery maintenance, lubrication systems, and routine engineering duties while ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations in compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced Oilers with previous Crewboat, Tug Boat, or Workboat experience.
Job Responsibilities
Assist engineers with daily engine room operations
Perform lubrication and routine maintenance of machinery
Monitor auxiliary equipment and engine room systems
Carry out cleaning and maintenance of machinery spaces
Assist during machinery repairs and inspections
Maintain engine room operational readiness
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and STCW requirements
Requirements
Previous experience as Oiler onboard Crewboat, Tug Boat, or Workboat
Valid Oiler Certificate of Proficiency (STCW III/5) or equivalent
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
All certificates must remain valid for at least 15 months
Good English communication skills
Strong engine room operational knowledge
Excellent safety awareness and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for sea service
