Job Description
A leading offshore company is currently seeking an experienced Oiler to join an Accommodation Vessel supporting offshore operations worldwide.
The successful candidate will assist the engineering department with engine room operations, machinery maintenance, lubrication, and routine inspections while ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations and company HSE procedures.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced engine ratings with previous Accommodation Vessel or DP Offshore Vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Assist engineers during engine room watchkeeping
Lubricate propulsion and auxiliary machinery
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery spaces
Monitor machinery performance and report abnormalities
Assist with repairs and overhauls
Maintain engine room cleanliness and safety
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Follow company HSE procedures and international maritime regulations
Requirements
Minimum 24 months of experience as Oiler
Previous experience onboard Accommodation Vessels or DP Offshore Vessels
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Engine Rating certificates
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork skills
Excellent safety awareness
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
