We are recruiting a Greaser to support the engine department onboard a Hopper Dredger operating in the UK. The successful candidate will assist with machinery maintenance, lubrication and general engine-room operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist engineers with machinery operation and maintenance.
Carry out lubrication and routine equipment inspections.
Support cleaning and housekeeping within machinery spaces.
Assist with planned maintenance and repairs.
Monitor equipment and report defects.
Follow onboard safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements
European passport – mandatory.
Valid UK Work Permit – mandatory.
Valid STCW Basic Safety Training (BST).
Valid CoC, where applicable.
Valid Seaman’s Book.
Valid Security Awareness certificate.
Valid STCW Medical.
GWO Working at Heights certificate.
GWO Sea Survival certificate.
Valid OGUK Medical.
Relevant engine-room / greaser experience.
Good command of English.
Availability according to project requirements.
