Description
As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems on ships, offshore installations, and other maritime assets. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical equipment, wiring, and systems, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols. Your expertise will contribute to the reliability and functionality of electrical systems critical to the maritime industry.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, identifying and addressing issues to prevent downtime and ensure safety
Install, repair, and upgrade electrical components, including wiring, lighting, generators, and control systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing equipment and methodologies
Ensure compliance with maritime industry regulations and safety standards while working on electrical systems
Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities
Work closely with other technical teams and departments to coordinate and complete projects efficiently
Be prepared to respond to electrical emergencies and assist in resolving critical issues promptly.
