OOS International is seeking an experienced Chief Electrician to manage electrical and electronic maintenance activities onboard an Accommodation Vessel.
The successful candidate will ensure reliable operation of electrical distribution, automation, control, communication, and other marine electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the vessel’s electrical maintenance activities
• Maintain generators, switchboards, motors, and electrical distribution systems
• Troubleshoot electrical, automation, and control systems
• Supervise electrical maintenance and repair work
• Maintain technical records and spare-part inventories
• Support safe operation of navigation, communication, and safety systems
Requirements
• Relevant Chief Electrician / marine electrical qualification
• Previous offshore or marine electrical experience
• Experience on accommodation or construction vessels preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical, automation, and control systems
• Valid STCW certification package where applicable
• Valid medical and offshore safety certificates
• Valid Passport and relevant documentation
• Good English communication skills
• Strong leadership and troubleshooting skills
