Job Description:
Astro Offshore is looking for an experienced Crane Operator to join a Multi-Purpose Support Vessel (MPSV) operating worldwide. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in offshore lifting operations, including cargo handling, deck loading, and subsea operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate offshore cranes safely in accordance with company and industry standards
• Conduct daily checks and maintenance of lifting equipment
• Support deck crew during cargo and heavy-lift operations
• Follow safety procedures and coordinate with the Deck Foreman and Bridge team
Requirements:
• Valid Offshore Crane Operator Certificate (Stage 2 or 3 preferred)
• Valid STCW and medical fitness certificates
• Proven offshore experience in a similar role
• Good English communication skills
• Strong understanding of safe lifting procedures
Employment Details:
• Contract Duration: 2–3 months (renewable)
