DMC Offshore Croatia is seeking experienced Crane Operators to support offshore construction and cable-laying projects across Europe. The successful candidate will operate offshore cranes during lifting operations while ensuring safe cargo handling and compliance with offshore lifting procedures.
Job Responsibilities
Operate offshore cranes safely and efficiently
Execute heavy lifting and cargo handling operations
Inspect cranes and lifting equipment before use
Follow approved lifting plans and risk assessments
Coordinate with Deck Foremen, Riggers, and bridge personnel
Maintain crane operational records
Participate in emergency drills and toolbox talks
Ensure compliance with HSE and offshore lifting standards
Requirements
Previous offshore experience as Crane Operator
EU Residency is mandatory
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Offshore lifting certification (where applicable)
Valid Passport, Seaman's Book, and Medical Certificate
Additional offshore certificates relevant to the role
Good English communication skills
Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
