We are currently recruiting an experienced Cook to join an offshore vessel currently undergoing dry-dock operations in Norway.
This is a 4-week short-term contract with an urgent start. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals and supporting the vessel's catering operations while maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety.
Due to accommodation arrangements during the dry-dock period, an EU work visa or EU passport is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Preparing and serving meals for the vessel's crew.
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness in the galley.
Managing food preparation and maintaining catering areas and equipment.
Following onboard food safety, hygiene, and HSE procedures.
Cooperating with the vessel's crew and catering team during dry-dock operations.
Requirements:
Relevant experience as a Cook onboard vessels or in an offshore environment.
Valid STCW Certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
EU work visa or EU passport – mandatory.
Ability to join on short notice.
Good teamwork and adaptability.
Good English communication skills.
Additional offshore/maritime certificates will be considered an advantage.
