We are urgently seeking an experienced Cook to join a 416 GT Tug Boat operating between Malta and Nigeria.
The Cook will be responsible for preparing meals for the crew and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and galley cleanliness throughout the approximately 45-day contract.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Preparing nutritious and varied meals for the vessel’s crew.
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and galley cleanliness.
Managing food preparation and storage.
Monitoring food supplies and minimizing waste.
Following onboard health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Cook onboard a vessel.
Tug Boat / offshore / marine catering experience preferred.
Valid STCW certificates, where applicable.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
Good English communication skills.
Ability to join in Malta without a visa or hold a valid Malta visa.
Immediate availability.
