We are recruiting an experienced Cook to join a Hopper Dredger operating in the UK. The Cook will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for the crew and maintaining high standards of galley hygiene and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare daily meals for the crew.
Plan menus and accommodate dietary requirements.
Manage food preparation and storage.
Monitor provisions and galley supplies.
Maintain galley cleanliness and hygiene.
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
Minimize food waste and maintain good stock control.
Requirements
European passport – mandatory.
Valid UK Work Permit – mandatory.
Valid STCW Basic Safety Training (BST).
Valid CoC, where applicable.
Valid Seaman’s Book.
Valid Security Awareness certificate.
Valid STCW Medical.
GWO Working at Heights certificate.
GWO Sea Survival certificate.
Valid OGUK Medical.
Previous maritime / offshore catering experience preferred.
Relevant catering and food-hygiene qualifications.
Good command of English.
Availability according to project requirements.
