A maritime company is seeking an experienced Cook to join a DP2 Cable Laying Vessel operating on worldwide offshore cable installation projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals for the crew, maintaining high standards of food hygiene, and supporting the daily catering operations onboard in accordance with company procedures.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare daily meals for crew members according to menu and company requirements
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the galley and food preparation areas
Manage food storage and ensure proper handling of provisions
Monitor food supplies and assist with inventory control
Follow onboard food safety, HSE, and hygiene procedures
Cooperate with the vessel’s crew and support daily onboard operations
Requirements
Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
Previous experience as a Cook onboard offshore or merchant vessels preferred
Experience on DP vessels, Cable Laying Vessels, or other offshore vessels is an advantage
Good knowledge of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural crew
