Select Offshore is currently seeking an experienced 2nd Cook to join Offshore Support Vessels operating in UK waters.
The successful candidate will assist the Chief Cook with meal preparation, food storage, galley cleanliness, provisioning, and daily catering operations while maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
This opportunity is suitable for experienced offshore catering personnel.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with preparation of daily meals
Support menu preparation and food presentation
Maintain galley hygiene and cleanliness
Assist with provisioning and inventory control
Store food safely according to regulations
Follow food safety procedures
Participate in emergency drills
Support efficient galley operations
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Previous offshore catering experience preferred
Valid passport and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong teamwork and organizational skills
Knowledge of food hygiene standards
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
