A reputable shipping company is recruiting an experienced Chief Officer to join a Turkish-flagged Tug Boat operating in Turkey.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Master with safe navigation and vessel operations
• Support towing, mooring, berthing, and unberthing operations
• Supervise deck crew and daily deck activities
• Maintain deck equipment and safety systems
• Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures
• Ensure compliance with company and maritime regulations
Requirements
• Valid Chief Officer / Deck Officer Certificate of Competency
• Minimum 500 GT qualification required
• Previous Tug Boat / Harbour Tug experience preferred
• Experience with towing and harbour manoeuvring is an advantage
• Valid STCW certification package
• Valid Passport, Seaman’s Book, and Medical Certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety and teamwork skills
• Turkish personnel preferred
