We are urgently seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join a 416 GT Tug Boat operating from Malta to Nigeria.
The Chief Officer will support the Master in the safe operation of the vessel and supervise deck activities and crew.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting the Master with safe navigation and vessel operations.
Supervising deck crew and daily deck activities.
Ensuring safe cargo, mooring, towing, and deck operations as applicable.
Maintaining safety equipment and onboard documentation.
Ensuring compliance with company and HSE procedures.
Requirements:
Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency.
Relevant Tug Boat / Work Boat experience.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
Good English communication skills.
Ability to join in Malta without a visa or hold a valid Malta visa.
Immediate availability.
