Job Description

PT Setya Dharma Maritim Manajemen is currently seeking an experienced Chief Officer (ANT II) to join a Self Propelled Barge (SPB) equipped with two offshore cranes for an offshore project in Guinea, West Africa.

The successful candidate will oversee deck operations, cargo handling, crane activities, navigational watchkeeping, safety management, and crew supervision while ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations and company HSE standards.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced Chief Officers with previous Self Propelled Barge and West Africa operational experience.

Job Responsibilities
Supervise all deck operations and deck crew
Conduct navigational watchkeeping duties
Coordinate cargo handling, crane, mooring, and anchoring operations
Monitor ballast operations and vessel stability
Maintain lifesaving and firefighting equipment
Conduct onboard safety drills and inspections
Ensure compliance with ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, and company HSE procedures
Assist the Master with daily vessel management

Requirements
Valid Chief Officer (ANT II) Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Valid STCW 2010 certification package (BST MSC 560)
Minimum 24 months of experience onboard Self Propelled Barges (SPB) in the rank of Chief Officer
Previous West Africa experience is mandatory
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
All certificates valid for at least 18 months
Good English communication skills
Strong leadership and safety awareness
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
