Select Offshore is currently seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join an Offshore Vessel operating worldwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Master in the safe navigation and operation of the vessel, supervising deck operations, managing cargo activities, ensuring compliance with offshore safety regulations, and leading the deck crew during offshore operations.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced Chief Officers with previous offshore vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Assist the Master with navigation and vessel management
Supervise deck crew and daily deck operations
Coordinate cargo handling and offshore activities
Ensure compliance with STCW, SOLAS, MARPOL, and ISM Code
Conduct safety drills and toolbox meetings
Maintain navigational publications and deck documentation
Monitor deck maintenance and equipment readiness
Promote safe working practices onboard
Requirements
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Previous Offshore Vessel experience in the same rank
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong leadership and organizational abilities
Excellent safety awareness and teamwork skills
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
