PT Savana Charta Indonesia is currently recruiting a Chief Officer for a Floating Crane Vessel operating in West Africa.
The Chief Officer will oversee deck operations, cargo handling activities, crew management, safety compliance, and vessel maintenance while supporting the Master in daily operations.
Responsibilities
Supervise deck crew and deck operations
Manage cargo handling and lifting activities
Maintain vessel stability and safety procedures
Conduct inspections and maintenance programs
Coordinate emergency preparedness activities
Ensure compliance with company and maritime regulations
Requirements
Indonesian Seafarer only
Fluent English communication skills
Previous Floating Crane Vessel experience preferred
Minimum 2 contracts in the same rank and vessel type
Valid Chief Officer COC as per STCW 2010
Valid passport and seafarer documents
Certificates valid for at least 18 months
Valid Yellow Fever and Cholera vaccinations
Completed COVID-19 vaccination
Strong leadership and organizational abilities
