A leading offshore vessel operator is recruiting an experienced Chief Officer to join a CSOV operating in Norway.
The successful candidate will oversee deck operations, safety management systems, cargo operations, maintenance programs, and offshore support activities while assisting the Master in the safe operation of the vessel.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise deck crew and daily deck operations
Manage safety systems and emergency preparedness
Coordinate cargo and offshore support activities
Maintain deck equipment and vessel structure
Conduct safety inspections and drills
Ensure compliance with maritime and offshore regulations
Assist the Master in vessel operations
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Chief Officer Certificate of Competency
Previous offshore vessel experience preferred
Experience on CSOV, SOV, OSV, or similar vessels
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong leadership and organizational skills
