Job Description
Novo Sdn Bhd is currently seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join an Accommodation Work Boat (AWB) DP2 Vessel supporting offshore operations in Malaysia Offshore.
The successful candidate will supervise deck operations, support Dynamic Positioning activities, coordinate cargo and lifting operations, manage deck personnel, and ensure compliance with offshore safety standards.
This opportunity is ideal for Chief Officers with previous AWB DP2 or offshore support vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise daily deck operations
Support bridge watchkeeping and DP operations
Coordinate cargo handling and lifting activities
Manage deck crew and maintenance programs
Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures
Conduct safety meetings and emergency drills
Maintain deck equipment and operational readiness
Prepare operational reports and documentation
Requirements
Minimum 24 months of experience as Chief Officer on AWB DP2 or equivalent offshore vessels
Valid Certificate of Competency (Chief Officer)
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid OPITO BOSIET
Valid Rigging & Slinging Certificate
Valid passport and offshore medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong offshore operational knowledge
Excellent leadership and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
