We are recruiting an experienced Chief Mate to join a Work Boat & Utility Vessel fleet. The successful candidate will oversee deck operations, cargo activities where applicable, crew management, and ensure safe vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervising deck crew and daily deck operations.
Assisting the Master in vessel management and navigation.
Planning maintenance of deck equipment.
Conducting safety inspections and emergency drills.
Maintaining compliance with company and international regulations.
Requirements:
Valid Chief Mate Certificate of Competency.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Good English communication skills.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
Previous experience in rank preferred.
