Job Description
PT. Benteng Marine Service is currently seeking an experienced Third Engineer (3E) to join a Crewboat Vessel supporting offshore marine operations.
The successful candidate will assist in the operation, maintenance, and repair of propulsion and auxiliary machinery while ensuring compliance with company procedures and international maritime safety regulations.
This opportunity is ideal for marine engineers with previous Crewboat, Tug Boat, or Workboat experience.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with daily engine room operations
Operate and maintain propulsion and auxiliary machinery
Perform planned maintenance and machinery inspections
Troubleshoot mechanical and engine systems
Maintain engineering records and maintenance logs
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and STCW requirements
Support safe and efficient vessel operations
Requirements
Previous experience as Third Engineer onboard Crewboat, Tug Boat, or Workboat
Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
All certificates must remain valid for at least 15 months
Good English communication skills
Strong engineering and troubleshooting knowledge
Excellent safety awareness and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for sea service
