A leading offshore marine contractor is seeking an experienced 3rd Engineer to join a Jack-Up vessel operating in Taiwan.
The successful candidate will support the engine department with machinery operation, maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting while ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with the operation of main and auxiliary machinery
Perform engine room watchkeeping duties
Carry out routine machinery inspections and maintenance
Assist with troubleshooting and repairs
Maintain engine room equipment and working areas
Support planned maintenance activities
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Follow engine room HSE and safety procedures
Requirements
Previous experience as 3rd Engineer on Jack-Up or similar offshore vessels
Proven Jack-Up vessel experience
Valid Engineering Officer CoC
Valid STCW certificates
Valid ILO Medical Certificate
Valid passport and Seaman's Book
Good English communication skills
Strong technical and safety awareness
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural offshore crew
Malaysian nationality preferred
