**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced **3rd Engineer** to join a Cable Layer vessel operating in Qatar. The contract is expected to begin in **October 2025** with a duration of approximately 6 weeks. The successful candidate will support the engine department in the safe and efficient operation of all onboard machinery and systems, in compliance with company and international standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assist in the operation and maintenance of engine room machinery and equipment
• Monitor engine performance and report to senior engineering officers
• Maintain records, logs, and ensure compliance with safety procedures
• Support emergency response and safety drills as required

**Requirements:**
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• BOSIET with CA-EBS including HUET
• GWO Sea Survival
• Proven experience in rank (3rd Engineer), preferably on offshore / specialized vessels such as Cable Layers
• Proficiency in English communication
