Job Description

PT Setya Dharma Maritim Manajemen is currently seeking an experienced 3rd Engineer (ATT III) to join a Self Propelled Barge (SPB) equipped with two offshore cranes for an offshore project in Guinea, West Africa.

The successful candidate will support engine room operations, machinery maintenance, and repair activities while ensuring the reliable operation of propulsion and auxiliary systems in accordance with company HSE procedures and international maritime standards.

This opportunity is ideal for qualified engineers with previous Self Propelled Barge and West Africa operational experience.

Job Responsibilities
Operate and maintain engine room machinery
Perform planned maintenance and troubleshooting
Monitor generators, pumps, compressors, and auxiliary systems
Maintain engineering records and maintenance reports
Assist during machinery overhauls and repairs
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and maritime regulations
Support safe and efficient engine room operations

Requirements
Valid 3rd Engineer (ATT III) Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Valid STCW 2010 certification package (BST MSC 560)
Minimum 24 months of experience onboard Self Propelled Barges (SPB) in the rank of 3rd Engineer
Previous West Africa experience is mandatory
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
All certificates valid for at least 18 months
Good English communication skills
Strong technical knowledge and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
