- Valid STCW certification, including Engine Room Watchkeeping.
- Strong knowledge of marine engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of various machinery and equipment on board vessels.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation, maintenance, and repair of the vessel's machinery and equipment, including engines, generators, pumps, and auxiliary systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that may arise during operations.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
