Select Offshore is currently seeking an experienced 3rd Engineer to join Offshore Support Vessels operating in UK waters.
The successful candidate will assist in the operation, maintenance, and repair of propulsion machinery, auxiliary equipment, and engine room systems while ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations in accordance with international maritime regulations and company HSE policies.
This opportunity is ideal for marine engineers with previous Offshore Support Vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Operate and monitor engine room machinery
Perform planned maintenance and repairs
Assist senior engineers with daily operations
Maintain engine room documentation
Participate in emergency drills
Ensure compliance with HSE and STCW regulations
Maintain safe and efficient machinery performance
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) as 3rd Engineer
Previous Offshore Support Vessel experience preferred
Valid passport and seafarer's medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong technical knowledge and teamwork abilities
Physically and medically fit for offshore service
