DESE Crew Management is currently seeking an experienced Messman to join a General Cargo Vessel operating worldwide.
The successful candidate will assist the catering department by supporting meal service, maintaining cleanliness of accommodation areas, assisting the cook, and ensuring high standards of hygiene onboard.
This opportunity is suitable for candidates with previous General Cargo vessel experience.

Messman — USD 1,338/month
Job Responsibilities
Assist the Cook with meal preparation and food service.
Clean and maintain the galley, mess rooms, and accommodation areas.
Wash dishes and kitchen utensils.
Replenish food stores and supplies.
Follow food hygiene and sanitation procedures.
Support catering operations during voyages.
Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures.
Requirements
Indonesian nationality.
Previous experience as Messman on General Cargo vessels.
Minimum 2 completed contracts in the same rank and vessel type.
Valid STCW 2010 certification package.
Valid Schengen Visa.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
All certificates valid for at least 15 months.
Good English communication skills.
Physically and medically fit for sea service.
