WestCrew Marine Services Ltd. is urgently seeking an experienced Fitter to join VLCC and Gas Tanker vessels of 35,000 GT and above operating in the Persian Gulf.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical repairs, steel work, maintenance of shipboard machinery and equipment, and supporting engine room operations while maintaining compliance with international maritime safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment onboard
Carry out welding, fabrication, and steel repair work as required
Assist the engine department during maintenance operations
Maintain machinery and equipment in safe operational condition
Support planned maintenance and emergency repair activities
Follow company HSE policies and international maritime regulations
Work effectively within a multinational crew
Requirements
Ghanaian nationality only
Previous Oil Tanker and Gas Tanker experience (mandatory)
Vessel experience on ships of 35,000 GT and above
Valid STCW Certificates
Valid Passport and Medical Certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong technical knowledge and safety awareness
