We are seeking an experienced Fitter to join the engine department of a Log Bulk vessel. The Fitter will assist with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and servicing of vessel machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing mechanical maintenance and repairs
Assisting with machinery servicing
Carrying out fitting and fabrication work
Supporting engineers during maintenance operations
Maintaining tools and workshop areas safely
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Relevant fitter/mechanical qualifications
Previous experience as a Fitter onboard vessels
Experience on Log Bulk vessels preferred
Good knowledge of mechanical maintenance and repair
Good English communication skills
Valid passport and seafarer documentation
