Job Description:
PT Savana Charta Indonesia is looking for an experienced Fitter to join its Oil Tanker fleet. The successful candidate will carry out maintenance, fabrication, repair, and installation work on vessel structures, pipelines, machinery components, and deck equipment while ensuring safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Performing welding, fabrication, and steel repair work.
Repairing pipelines, valves, machinery components, and deck equipment.
Assisting engineering personnel during maintenance and overhaul projects.
Inspecting mechanical equipment and reporting defects.
Following company safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.
Requirements:
Valid STCW Certificates.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Good English communication skills.
Valid BOCT, ACT, and AOT certificates.
Certificate of Competency (COC), where applicable, valid for at least 18 months.
Minimum 1 year of experience as Fitter on an Oil Tanker.
Completed COVID-19 vaccination.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
