Job Description:
Spliethoff is hiring an experienced Fitter for its Multi-Purpose Vessel (MPV) fleet in Europe. The Fitter will perform steelwork, pipefitting, and repair tasks to maintain vessel integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct welding, cutting, and metal repairs in engine room and on deck
• Assist engineering team with mechanical maintenance
• Fabricate and install pipes, brackets, and supports
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards
• Support in emergency maintenance operations
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Strong welding and fitting experience required
• Good English communication skills
• Experience with European crew preferred
