DESE Crew Management is recruiting an experienced Fitter for a General Cargo Vessel operating worldwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for fabrication, welding support, machinery repairs, steel work, and assisting the engine department with maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with company safety standards.
This position is suitable for qualified Fitters with previous General Cargo vessel experience.
Position Available
Fitter — USD 2,400/month
Job Responsibilities
Carry out fabrication and steel repair work.
Assist with machinery maintenance and equipment repairs.
Perform welding and cutting operations when required.
Maintain engine room and workshop equipment.
Support the Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
Follow company HSE procedures and international maritime regulations.
Participate in emergency drills and safety activities.
Requirements
Indonesian nationality.
Previous experience as Fitter on General Cargo vessels.
Minimum 2 completed contracts in the same rank and vessel type.
Valid STCW 2010 certification package.
Valid Schengen Visa.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
All certificates valid for at least 15 months.
Good English communication skills.
Physically and medically fit for sea service.
