- Minimum 12 months experience as Fitter on foreign going vessels of relevant type/size.
- Basic Knowledge of ISM, ISPS and security related duties
- Shows broad practical knowledge and experience in Welding , Lathe Machine Operation and Pipe Works
- Maintenance, repair, and fabrication of mechanical parts on deck and engine.
- Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Proper use and maintenance of appropriate tools and equipment (e.g. Welding machines, pneumatic and electric grinders, power saw, and bench drilling machine)
- Emergency Procedures (Fire - Abandonship - Man overboard - Oil Spill / SOPEP)
