Job Description
Vasundhara Marine Services Pvt. Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced Deck Fitter to join Aframax, Suezmax, and VLCC Tankers operating on international trading routes.
The successful candidate will carry out steel fabrication, welding, piping repairs, deck equipment maintenance, and general repair work while supporting safe tanker operations.
This opportunity is ideal for skilled marine fitters with previous tanker experience.
Job Responsibilities
Carry out steel fabrication and welding work
Repair deck machinery and equipment
Maintain pipelines, valves, and fittings
Assist with cargo equipment maintenance
Perform routine inspections and repairs
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Follow company HSE procedures and maritime regulations
Maintain operational readiness onboard
Requirements
Previous experience as Deck Fitter onboard Aframax, Suezmax, or VLCC Tankers
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Welding and fabrication experience preferred
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong mechanical and fabrication skills
Excellent safety awareness
Physically and medically fit for sea service
