Job Description
Pan Marine Shipping Services is currently seeking an experienced Chief Cook to join its clients' Tanker Fleet with immediate joining.
The successful candidate will manage all galley operations, prepare nutritious meals for multinational crews, supervise catering personnel, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene onboard.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced Chief Cooks with previous tanker vessel experience.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare daily meals for officers and crew
Plan menus and manage food inventories
Supervise galley staff and catering operations
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and sanitation
Ensure proper storage and handling of provisions
Control food consumption and stock levels
Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
Comply with company HSE procedures and maritime catering standards
Requirements
Previous experience as Chief Cook onboard Tanker vessels
Valid STCW 2010 certification package
Food Handling or Catering Certificate preferred
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
Strong culinary and galley management skills
Excellent hygiene and safety awareness
Ready for immediate joining
Physically and medically fit for sea service
