Job Description:
Spliethoff seeks a qualified Chief Cook to join a Multi-Purpose Vessel (MPV) in European waters. The Cook will be responsible for managing all galley operations and ensuring high-quality meals for the crew.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and prepare daily menus for international crew
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in galley and storage areas
• Manage food inventory and supplies
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Supervise Second Cook and assist with provisioning
Requirements:
• Valid Ship’s Cook Certificate or equivalent STCW endorsement
• Medical fitness certificate
• Experience in European or mixed-nationality crews preferred
• Proficiency in English communication
• Strong organizational and hygiene management skills
