PT Jasa Internasional Maritim is recruiting an Engine Cadet to join a Bulk Carrier Vessel operating worldwide.
The successful candidate will receive practical onboard training and assist the engine department with machinery operations, maintenance, inspections, and other engine room duties under the supervision of qualified engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Assist engineering officers with daily engine room operations
Support routine machinery inspections and maintenance
Assist with cleaning, lubrication, and preservation activities
Participate in engine room safety drills and training
Maintain tools and assigned working areas
Observe and learn safe operating procedures for marine machinery
Follow company HSE and engine room safety requirements
Requirements
Indonesian seafarer
Previous engine cadetship or relevant maritime training preferred
Enrolled in or completed an approved engine cadet training program
Valid maritime certificates and training documents as required
Good English communication skills
Strong willingness to learn and teamwork skills
