PT Jasa Internasional Maritim is recruiting a Deck Cadet to join a Bulk Carrier Vessel operating worldwide.
The successful candidate will receive practical onboard training and assist the deck department with navigation, maintenance, cargo, safety, and other duties under the supervision of qualified officers.
Key Responsibilities
Assist deck officers with daily vessel operations
Participate in deck maintenance and preservation activities
Assist with mooring and anchoring operations
Support cargo operations as instructed
Participate in safety drills and onboard training
Assist with navigation and watchkeeping training
Maintain assigned equipment and work areas
Follow company HSE and safety procedures
Requirements
Indonesian seafarer
Previous cadetship or relevant maritime training preferred
Enrolled in or completed an approved deck cadet training program
Valid maritime certificates and training documents as required
Good English communication skills
Strong willingness to learn and work as part of a multicultural crew
