Position:
1. Road Transport Safety Officer -
Qualifications/Experience:
• Diploma in Automobile engineering
• Professional in imparting defensive driving technique.
• Expertise in all type of vehicle and construction equipment.
• Minimum 05 yrs. experience of transport management.
Basic Understanding:
• Understanding of Oil and Gas Industry,
Tanker Operation and Light and Heavy Vehicle Movement.
Competencies:
• Good Knowledge of Light & Heavy Vehicle Automobile Parts.
• Good Knowledge on Maintenance of Vehicles.
• Good Knowledge of Safety Inspection of all Vehicles
• Providing internal Defensive Driving Training to tanker /passenger /Crane/hydra .forklift drivers.
• Monitoring of Fuel and KM analysis data.
• Maintaining data of Vehicles in Excel Sheet.
• Counselling of Drivers.
• Expertise in Journey Risk Management.
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of standard Operating procedures regarding Tanker Operations.
• Knowledge of following Company emergency protocol during tanker vehicle accident.
• Aware of Emergency Scenarios -Firefighting / Evacuation Methodology during road tanker Spill control scenario
• Aware of Vedanta HSE standards, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards
