An international offshore company is currently seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join an FPSO project in Tunisia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring onboard HSE activities, ensuring compliance with company procedures and international offshore safety standards, and supporting a strong safety culture onboard.
Job Responsibilities
Monitor compliance with onboard HSE procedures and regulations.
Conduct safety inspections and workplace observations.
Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
Assist with incident and near-miss reporting and investigations.
Monitor permit-to-work and safe working practices.
Support emergency drills and preparedness activities.
Maintain HSE records and documentation.
Promote safe working practices among crew and offshore personnel.
Requirements
Previous FPSO / offshore experience is mandatory.
Valid BOSIET or FOET.
Valid OGUK Medical.
Valid CDC and passport.
Valid Safety Officer / HSE-related certification.
Good English communication skills.
Strong knowledge of offshore HSE procedures.
Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multinational offshore team.
