Job Description:
SA-World is seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to support maintenance and troubleshooting of all electronic and instrumentation systems aboard our drilling rigs.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and calibrate electronic control and instrumentation systems.
Troubleshoot issues related to PLCs, sensors, and control panels.
Ensure system reliability for drilling automation and communication systems.
Assist in preventive maintenance schedules.
Support safety and environmental protection procedures.
Requirements:
Offshore experience in electronics or automation.
Valid STCW, Medical Certificate, and Seaman’s Book.
Proficiency in electrical schematics and diagnostic tools.
Excellent communication and safety awareness.
