Qualifications and Skills
Education: bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or a related field. An advanced degree or certification in Control Systems or Process Automation is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an engineer, with three years of focus in instrument engineering.
Instrument Engineering: Strong knowledge of instrument engineering principles, practices, and international standards (e.g., API, ISA, IEC). Experience in analyzer engineering is a plus.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and end-users. Strong documentation skills to create clear and concise technical reports and guidelines.
Adaptability and Initiative: Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities. Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and explore new technologies and methodologies.
Others: Understanding process control systems, distributed control systems (DCS), and safety instrumented systems (SIS) is a plus.
